Our office provides the most state-of-the-art procedures available, ensuring optimal results for our patients. Many of our patients can enjoy effective orthodontic treatment without the need for traditional metallic braces. In the past, when faced with wearing metal braces, many people simply chose to live with their crooked teeth. Today, our patients no longer have to. Instead, through Invisalign® virtually invisible braces, these individuals can obtain straight teeth and healthy smiles. Adults considering orthodontic treatment many times wonder how metal braces might be perceived in the professional setting. With Invisalign®, most people will not even realize you are undergoing orthodontic treatment, unless, of course, you decide to tell them.

The Invisalign® system uses a series of clear plastic aligners to straighten teeth. Each aligner is designed to apply the appropriate pressure necessary to move teeth into a more beneficial position. Each Invisalign® aligner is worn for about two weeks, and overall treatment time is about the same as traditional metal braces, though usually less. Aligners are worn 24 hours a day, except during meals. The revolutionary nature of Invisalign® has opened the door to high quality, effective orthodontic treatment for many. Schedule your consultation today so that we can help you determine if Invisalign® virtually invisible braces are right for you. Each and every case is unique, but the end result is always a more confident smile!

Common Questions About Invisalign®

How long does the treatment take?

In depends on your personal condition. The number of aligners that you will have to wear (generally between 12 and 48) depends on the scope of the dental movements required.

How many hours per day must I wear the Invisalign® braces aligners?

Invisalign® only works when the aligners are worn. Consequently, you must wear them as long and as often as possible, day and night, except when you eat or brush your teeth. As a general rule, follow the instructions provided by your orthodontist or dentist.

Do I have to change my eating habits?

Unlike common treatments, you must remove your aligners to eat. Therefore, you can eat what you want. We recommend that you only drink water when you are wearing your aligners. Chewing gum is prohibited. Once again, follow the instructions provided by your orthodontist or dentist.

Do I have to frequently see my orthodontist or dentist?

Your orthodontist / dentist will schedule appointments on a regular basis, generally every 6 weeks. These appointments will allow him to monitor the progress of your treatment.

Will wearing Invisalign® braces aligners affect my diction?

Just like any orthodontics treatment, Invisalign® will cause some slight diction problems that will disappear within a day or two - the time it takes for your tongue to get used to the aligners.

Is the treatment painful?

Most people will have sensitive teeth for a few days following the treatment and wearing of a new aligner. This is normal and demonstrates the efficiency of the aligners and the fact that the teeth are moving as planned. This sensitivity will quickly disappear.

How much does the Invisalign® braces treatment cost?

Your orthodontist / dentist will determine the duration and cost of your treatment according to the severity of your condition. Furthermore, in order to help you through your functional and cosmetic approach, your orthodontist / dentist has developed a financing system.
